
Q. How do I make a reservation?
A. Simply contact Cross Wind for a reservation. Let us know what date(s) you are considering and the approximate size of your group. Once a date has been agreed upon, you will be sent a contract to confirm your reservation.
Q. Do you require a deposit to guarantee the reservation?
A. Yes. The deposit will be based on the number of rooms/lodges or number of people attending. Your deposti is due back to Cross Wind within 30 days of the date you receive your contract. Your deposit will be deducted from the final invoice. Reservations will not be held if contract and deposit are not received by the deadline.
Q. How are guests assigned to the guest rooms & what time do we check-in/vacate our guest rooms/lodges?
A. CWCC will assign each group a block of guest rooms; from these rooms, your group coordinator will assign guests to the appropriate room. The coordinator may call 10 days in advance to receive guest room assignments. Guest rooms can be occupied at 4:00 pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10:00 am on departure day. Lodge departure time will be discussed with mamagement when you book your event.
Q. When can our group begin arriving at the Conference Center?
A. Two hours before your first meal--please, not before. This gives us adequate time to prepare the facility. Any other arrival/departure times must be approved in advance with management and additional fees will be charged.
Q. What can I expect when I arrive?
A. For groups staying at the conference center, there will be a registration table set up for your group with a guest manual, billing worksheet, & motel room keys, etc. A sign will welcome your guests and identify your check-in table. Guests of the retreat lodges will check in directly at their lodge; the group coordinator should stop in at the conference center to pick up a guest manual & keys.
Q. What is the Day-User fee and who is charged this fee?
A. This is a daily fee for anyone visiting your group at any of our facilities and not lodging with us. The Day User fee is included in the RV fee for up to two persons. Meals are in addition to this fee.
Q. How are meals served and at what time?
A. All of our meals are served buffet style. We serve breakfast at 8:00 am, lunch at 12:00 pm, and dinner at 6:00 pm. On Sundays, we serve a dinner menu at 12:00 pm and a lunch menu at 6:00 pm. Our food service staff selects the menus except for private banquets.
Q. When is payment for our event expected?
A. The bill will be sent to you through the mail, within three to four weeks after the event. Payment is due upon receipt of billing.
